AGITO CADETMagic: Thanks to the blessing of Rubrum's Vermillion Bird Crystal, Machina possesses the ability* to cast an array of magic. The five main types are Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Defense, and Other. The full list can be found here. Magic ability reaches its peak in adolescence and begins to diminish upon reaching adulthood.
Elemental and many Defense magics come in a type, -ra, -ga series. e.g. Fire, Fira, Firaga. Potency grows the longer the spell is charged, moving from the base spell to the -ra level to the -ga level.
Fire RF: Shoots a fire bullet forward in a straight line.
Fire RF-II: Shoots a piercing fire bullet forward.
Fire SHG: Shoots several small fire bullets in a frontal cone.
Fire SHG-II: Shoots fire-type bullets that scatter on impact.
Fire ROK: Aims with crosshairs to shoot explosive bullets of fire.
Fire ROK-II: Shoots powerful and explosive bullets.
Fire MIS: Launches an explosive fire spell that pursues its target.
Fire MIS-II: Launches an explosive and slow, but powerful fire spell that pursues its target.
Fire BOM: Sends out a wave of fire magic around the caster.
Fire BOM-II: Sends out a wave of fire magic around the caster that lingers as a deadly inferno.
Blizzard RF: Shoots ice bullets forward in a straight line.
Blizzard RF-II: Shoots a piercing ice bullet forward.
Blizzard SHG: Shoots several small ice bullets in a frontal cone.

Thunder RF: Shoots lightning bullets forward in a straight line.
Thunder SHG: Sends out lightning magic in a set range.
Thunder SHG-II: Sends out piercing lightning magic in a set range.
Thunder ROK: Aims with crosshairs to shoot explosive lightning bullets.
Thunder ROK-II: Shoots powerful lightning bullets that explode on impact.
Thunder MIS: Launches a stream of lightning that pursues the target.
Thunder MIS-II: Launches a slow but powerful lightning spell that pursues the target.
Thunder BOM: Sends out a wave of crackling lightning magic around the user.
Thunder BOM-II: Sends out a powerful wave of lightning magic around the caster which lingers in a rolling electrical storm.
Cure: Restores HP.
Protect: Blunts physical damage.
Invisible: Grants invisibility for a period of time.
Esuna: Cures status ailments.
Raise: Revives fallen allies who haven't faded from the field.
Wall: Creates a transparent barrier that blocks physical passage and gunfire.
Avoid: Automatically dodge attacks by consuming MP.
Aloud: Fires non-elemental bullets in a 180-degree cone in front of the caster.
Bio: Sends out a wave of magic that inflicts Poison.
Death: Creates a whisp of harrowing magic that makes the target capable of being killed with the next strike. (killsight inflicting)
Holy: Casts white spheres of holy energy that homes into the nearest opponent and renders them to stone upon death.
Meteor: Emits a glyph skyward to summon meteors onto the target, striking multiple times over a wide radius.
Quake: Makes the surrounding earth shudder and shatter, hitting ground enemies over a broad range.
Tornado: Conjure a powerful tornado that persists and hits a single target over 11 times.
Ultima: Engulfs a white radius with powerful magical energy with the user as the epicenter. (Can break the damage limit in a single hit.)
* When actively in l'Cie mode, Machina loses his ability to cast magic.A full chart of all available magic may be found here.Weaponry: Machina fights with twin rapiers. He has an array of techniques available to him, many of which will drain health away from opponents and grant him healing. Some will also stun.
AbilitiesCyclone Drive: Unleashes a continuous string of combination attacks.
Awakening: Restores all health and turns all normal attacks into Furious Blades.
Stunning Slash: Strike with high chance of inflicting Stun.
Guardian Blades: Creates energy blades that surround and defend Machina by draining health from enemies in their range.
Siphon Sword: A thrusting attack which drains vitality from enemies, giving it to Machina.
Dark Side: Pierce multiple enemies in succession to drain HP and possibly inflict Stun.
TraitsAccelerate: Increases movement speed.
Twinspell: Equip two spells at once.
Quick Draw II: Casts level II finishing magic.
Triple Slip: Execute up to three dodges in succession.
Untouchable: Increased window for dodging.
Intel: Check status of locked-on targets.
Finishing Cast: Cast finishing magic after a normal attack.
Combo Cast: Casts finishing magic after executing a combo.
Combo Bonus: Increase number of hits for normal attacks.
WHITE TIGER L'CIEIn exchange for his humanity, Machina has been granted "the power of gods." He is a Secundus l'Cie meaning that the powers he possesses are considered a unique set and are not necessarily combat focused. His particular powers are an ability to manipulate and enhance machinery and weaponry. It's possible for him to power a magitek anti-magic shield so that he and one other are the only ones not to perish in a fatal summoning. He can feed power into hopelessly damaged machines and weapons and restore them to full use, extend the mechanical capabilities of a weapon, and ostensibly fuel a weapon of mass destruction and not die to it.
While actively in l'Cie mode, he does receive some buffs to a mortal's combative power. He deals more damage, takes less damage, and has incredibly increased attack and movement speeds. He is also capable of flying, and short-distance teleportation.
